Environmental Commitment

Transco Packaging Group is committed to maintaining a sustainable business model, with environmental responsibility being at the forefront of our strategy related to the products we produce and the manufacturing processes we employ. Transco is commited to continuously reducing the environmental impact of our business throughout the lifecycle of the products we produce.

Our Green Initiatives:

Transco’s affordable, degradable* plastics use oxo-biodegradable resin additives created by EPI Environmental Technologies Inc. EPI’s Totally Degradable Plastic Additives (TDPA™) technology is an environmentally friendly solution to plastic waste. TDPA™ enables products of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) to degrade* or biodegrade* within a few months

Transco produces a wide array of bags using materials such as Non-Woven Polypropylene, Laminated Polypropylene, Cotton and Nylon.

Transco has initiated major green projects to recycle post-consumer waste.For example, we have equipped several clients with the technology torecycle and return industrial waste that is reused in our manufacturing.

We are committed to minimizing plastic waste sentto landfill. Transco continuously re-engineers its products to offerclients a reduction in the gauge of film. This reduces the volume ofplastic while retaining product strength and durability.

Transco is rigorous in advising customers on ways to add green value to their packaging.

Transco paper shoppers are entirely suitable for recycling.

We recycle 100% of our post-industrial plastic waste.

* All environmental claims relating to TDPA are those supplied by EPI. Transco makes no environmental claims relating to the use of TDPA. Organizations interested in EPI technology should perform their own due dilligence relating to any and all EPI Environmental claims.
